Cooperation with Regional Chambers of Commerce
Banks are increasingly working to strengthen their relationship with customers. By investing in the clients’ education, banks create a reliable joint partnership. Valor Academy has responded to this need, and has developed, in cooperation with the USAID Business Enabling Project, program of continuing education in financial management for small and medium-sized companies.
The program of continuing education deals with financial planning and management in a broader sense, and covers all the important aspects of the world of finance. In addition, this program helps owners of small and medium enterprises to better explain their business activities and business needs of banks, and show that they have the creditworthiness which significantly increases the willingness of banks to provide financial support to their business.
This program is designed for banks that want to invest in education of their clients: the owners, managers and financial experts. In this way, banks are able to maximally adapt their business to the needs of today, creating rather partnership with clients, and not strict business relationship by investing in their education in financial management.
Continuous training program "Financial Management for Small and Medium Enterprises" is designed for employees of small and medium-sized companies involved in the process of making financial decisions and strategies and in cooperation with the financial market. The program represents a holistic approach to knowledge and skills necessary to successfully manage the finances of a company and provides specific tools and techniques that contribute to achieving better performance and increase quality of relationship with financial market. Also, this program addresses the issues of availability and actual use of financial products and services through increased transparency and communication between the financial sector (banks) and small and medium enterprises.
In the previous period, Valor Academy has organized a series of workshops in cities across Serbia. In cooperation with Regional Chambers of Commerce, we visited Chambers in Nis, Krusevac, Uzice, Valjevo, Cacak and Zajecar. Through theory supported by examples from practice, we achieved our objective to help entrepreneurs at the local level to expand their knowledge of finance.
