Marijana Ćirić

If you work in the risk department, every day represents a new challenge.  In times of prosperity, you rush to approve the best package while minimizing the risk, so that potential loss would be as small as possible. In times of crisis, every day you pose a question: “Could we have done more?“

Biography

In 2001, Marijana  Ćirić  graduated from Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade. She got MSc degree in Quantitative Finance at Faculty of Economics in Belgrade based on cooperation with University Pompeu Fabra from Barcelona and South-Eastern Association for Quantitative Finance.
After studies, Marijana had been working for 3 years at Statistical office of Republic of Serbia, at National Bank of Serbia and as a cooperator of the Economic Institute in Belgrade. Marijana has been working in banking sector for more than 8 years in credit risk department (mainly on GLC) at first in Raiffeisen Bank and then in Erste Bank where she currently works.
